Looking for a pair of sun visors including brackets for a 67 230SL.
-
I bought mine here.

I needed the brackets as well. They visors are not perfect but good imo.

I bought mine though eBay, from a manufacturer in Turkey. They look pretty much the same as Dirk's (both have the wrong shape mirror cutout), but good enough. The ones on eBay are quite a bit less expensive (though they may come from the same factory):

I bought a pair from Vintage Auto in California. Still in box, I'll get you some pics.

I only have a 280SL, and it begs the question: are there fundamental differences in sun visors between 230, 250, and 280 SLs? Does one fit the other, or are all pretty much (save for shape of mirror cutout, etc.) the same?

I have genuine brackets but they’ll need to be re chromed.

There are two types of sun visor hinge, "early" and "late" and they are not interchangeable.
LHD and RHD also diifer due to the vanity mirror always being on the passenger side.
-
Getting a good set of RHD visors is difficult. I have now had three sets and am still looking for a decent set.

Resolved. Brackets from Authentic Classics and sun visors on eBay from Turkey. Thanks to all for the suggestions!

I received a photo of the seam from Bamboli Ltd. on eBay showing their visors are at least heat sealed and properly ground down a bit, unlike many others that have material hanging off or else obvious stitching. I may order a set of these as the price is reasonable.
