Hi folks
Not sure if question should be here or under paintwork!!?!??
So, my servo and radiator reservoir are looking a bit shabby. As such, I thought I’d give them a little refurb when winter arrives. I’m not intending to take the servo off as too much trouble, so will carefully re burn in situ!
Presently it looks as if the servo is a satin black, with the radiator reservoir being gloss. Is that correct?
Also, any recommendations on paint manufacturers? I’m presuming those items don’t get particularly hot, so don’t need heat resistant paint, or is it better to be safe than sorry?
Many thanks as always
Katie

Satin, but lots of Pagoda owners prefer gloss.

Search our forums for "Eastwood satin".

Thank you ☺️

I do not think I would worry about the temperature too much. Although you have the booster on the wrong side, I think it is far enough from the exhaust manifold.
As for removing those devices from the car: not that difficult for the expansion tank, but booster is indeed not so easy to remove...
You also may want to acquire or print from technical Manual the respective stickers.
What I did to a lot of parts was to give them a coat of clear satin varnish. I did that after sticker application, so that the stickers are coated too. Seems to work well, but I am not sure if it is the "best practice".

Brilliant idea! Hadn’t thought of that ☺️
