This popped into my inbox today:

There have been sedans converted to Cabriolets in the past. There isn’t enough detail presented in the listing to indicate whether this is an original Cabriolet or a converted Cabriolet, which would certainly affect the price. If original and drivable, this seems to be a very reasonable deal as some well restored models are commanding in the $250,000 and up range if I am not mistaken.
Certainly worthy of further investigation if a Cabrio is on your mind.

Only the V8s are hitting those high numbers.
One of my customers just bought a reasonably nice 250 cab for less than 50K (sterling)

It has a lot of issues and wouldn't think it would come close to top dollar. Somewhere between #3 and #4? A 4-Speed helps. 250s are typically lower than the 280 sixes. That's a reasonable selling price to me. You can look for the reinforcing panels underneath if it is a true cab. Coupes don't have those.
Anybody notice the star on the trunk lid is upside down?
