Title: Converting LHD euro headlights to RHD

Hi all, I purchased my 280 sl a few years ago. It's a LHD, from the US with LHD euro headlights fitted. As I hardly every drive it in the dark I have never changed the headlights to RHD, as I live in the UK I know I should. Is it just a case of finding a set of RHD euro glass lenses and changing out the LHD ones, or is it a complete light unit replacement? Thanks

You may want to take a look at our Technical Manual, you have access as a full Member. Differences are shown there.

Hi, that was my first port of call, I could find US to Euro but not Euro LHD to Euro RHD. I may of missed bit though. If you know of this please lead me to it. Thanks

Looks like you need to replace the lenses and either replace or modify the reflectors

Thanks chaps, more work than I was hoping it involved, but all clear what needs to be done.
