I suggest doing LUGGAGE STRAP for happy members . Leather ( you can choose your color) black, brown, tan, red, blue. made by a mate.
Price 50 euros + shipping  ( England 20 eur , Canada 38 eur....)

I am very interested in one of these. My 280 is Dark Blue with Parchment interior.

Anyone have a guess as to what color was most likely originally back in the trunk?

The metal part is in 2 parts screwed together so the sewing leather can be very close to the metal

My mecanic, sewing, cutting, drilling, leather skill man has received today the buckles and some nice leather skins. !
He works now with its knifes, rasor, and other trim tools .....!

I began to send the straps today  ( AndrewB.. and John C...) quite complicated with custom papers  ::)
The others straps will be shipped next week because of a few days with some of my little children ...! at the sea side  ;)
