I suggest doing LUGGAGE STRAP for happy members . Leather ( you can choose your color) black, brown, tan, red, blue. made by a mate.
Price 50 euros + shipping ( England 20 eur , Canada 38 eur....)
-
made by a mate.
How do I order one?
-
Looks lovely. What Rodd said
-
Send me a PM with your Email , tell me what color you wish. ( remember the shipping cost: Europe +- 20 eur , USA CANADA +- 38 eur )
I am actualy in a surgery recovery ... so shipping will not be this month. But my mate who makes the strap is working on the first ordered...!
payment with paypal or my bank
-
Am super excited to receive the first two !
They look fabulous
-
I forgot something: you can have your monogramme stamped on it or W113 or.....!
-
W113 Group logo??
-
No , i am not allowed to….!
But your monogramme (initials close to the buckle) or W113 for instance
-
W113 Group logo??
I'd imagine that a die to press into the leather would need to be made, which is work/costly
-
exactly.... that's why i suggest monogram or W 113 or nothing !

I am very interested in one of these. My 280 is Dark Blue with Parchment interior.
Anyone have a guess as to what color was most likely originally back in the trunk?
-
Tiefdunkelgrau? ;D
Seriously I would expect black to match the rubber mat.
-
Work in progress....! made by mate !

The metal part is in 2 parts screwed together so the sewing leather can be very close to the metal

I second Jon’s post !

Very nice work.
Its heartwarming to see an old Singer 29K in use in this day and age.
-
I use this Singer 29k only since a few weeks...! i have not yet solved the adjustments between the upper and lower thread...! I am apprentice now for the next .....20 years with the lathe also before .....another machine adventure.
If you don't are curious and want to learn or do something new .... you are already dead ! ;)

Mine arrived today and it looks fabulous. Thank you so much for making this happen: like so much, if people don't step up, nothing happens...
-
Well James , now you have to work with your camera and give us a photo in situ with some Vuitton suitcases of course....! A Pagoda deserve that at least :)
Btw one week to make 450 miles ...... to GUERNSEY ! i should have sailed there from LA ROCHELLE around Brittany , but the weather is not so good this time!
-
Received mine today and as James states, it looks fantastic. No luggage in the trunk at the moment so just used the strap to hold down a few items to see how it looked. Fit is excellent.
-
Also received mine today.
Very happy

Mine arrived today, very pretty. Still smells like something special and new. I didn’t have a chance to take pics or fit, but very impressed it’s Yves and the craftsmanship. I will take pics once I fit (hoping my factory hardware still is “normal”)

Thanks for the response, Yves. As my interior is parchment, either black or brown would be my preference. I will be on the lookout for news of another batch.
James
-
Good news, the second batch is scheduled..... ;)
-
Yves, can I get on the list for a black strap? They look great! Nice work!
I sent you a pm, please let me know what I need to do.
Thanks, Bob

Precisions about the colors: tan VS brown
Some members ask about "light brown", "cognac", etc....
i can make the 2 brown colors showed on the photo below, + of course black and blue !
1 is tan
2 is dark brown
-
Yves, I picked up my strap yesterday. C’est magnifique! A very professional job. I am very pleased with it.
Thank you.
Marc

I like to order one set dark brown. Is this the proper way to place the order?

Thanks.
