Hallo.
Unfortunately, all pagodas haven't found so stupid, crazy and stuck owners like us.
I am an incurable Nostalgiker now. Therefore Photos of junkyards are fascinating for me. Particularly if I see automobile history of Mercedes-Benz of the 50th to the 70th is lying around there and if I discover an old Mercedes. And quite particularly if it is an old Pagoda.
I have caught a couple of beautiful photos on the Internet by now. Perhaps you have some nice photos of pagodas which have found her sad end on a scrap yard, too?
One must show these photos, too. Why? One can see, what each of us has done, financielly and / or with much personal effort. And why we can be proud, to have a Pagoda like in front of our door.
Therefore I would be happy if you had a couple of photos.
I wish a beautiful weekend. We go to the Veteran-Car-Grand-Prix on the Nürburgring.
Regards from Detlef (Bad Homburg, Germany)

WOW,
I feel much better about my much less that ideal 230SL.
I'd love to take that old Nardi wheel and give it a new home though.
It would be great to know how many W113's still live.

Now I understand how we can find some Pagoda used parts in the "Veterama - Mannheim"... :(
Have a nice weekend in Nürburgring! I was there in July for the Truck Grand Prix, and had the opportunity to drive (E350 W211) one lap in the mythical Nordschleife [:p]... nearly 23 km of real motor racing history... (I guess you already know this: you just pay 15 euro, and you can make one lap): http://213.239.207.198/nuerburgring.de/106.html?&L=1
Cheers!

Hello Albert.
Yes, I know it too. Look here a report from the 17.07.2005 in our Pagoda - Forum:
http://www.pagodentreff.de/diskussionsforum/t1488-nordschleife-am-17072005.html
We drive not only one round there, we drive a whole day lot of rounds.

Hello Jim.
About 4,300 pagodas are authorized in Germany.
And the 'NARDI'? But for what do you need a beautiful NARDI steering-Wheel? If you drive with your pagoda through Hawai, these wonderful Hawai-Girls jump anyway in a Six-Pack into your Pagoda. Also without 'NARDI'. Or?

I wonder if Joe Alexander is going to make a pilgrimage to this place, and come home with a whole bunch of wonderful things? Better not let Mary find out about this treasure trove!!

Where is this 'yard'? Any parts available?
