Hey Guys;
Anyone out there have a problem lubricating Pagoda's? My grease gun nozzle fits loosely over the chassis Zerk fitting and so the grease leaks out instead of entering the fitting...question...is there a special metric grease gun nozzle fitting and if so, where can i get one? Also, where are the lube points for the door hinges?
Appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Joe :)

The lube point for the door hinges are the small hole in the middle of the hinge cylinder - you need a special tip to enter the grease into the hole. About the loose gun nozzle, I'm living in a metric world and dont know about if there is a special version for non metric sizes - however mine also leaks if I dont press it firmley over the fitting - or pherhaps you should change your fittings with new ones if the old onse are rusted / stuck etc.

the grease gun nozzle has to be in a direct line with the grease nipple and pressed against it firmly.

I have had the same experience and went to a power grease gun - remarkable much easier. Harbor Freight has one for $11.99. Works very well.http://harborfreight.com item 219-5VGA

Gentlemen;
Thanks for the replies...I'll check on gun tip as I removed fittings and all have been cleaned and are OK...never had this problem before.
What is the specialtip for lubricating the door hinges? Is it available through MB dealer?
Thanks.

I found the part to grease the door hinges at my local auto parts store. It is just a pointed end fitting with a male zerk on one end to slip on the end of my grease gun.

You can also use the little grease guns made to lube the rotating tip on chainsaws. The plastic version is about $10 available anyplace that sells chainsaws.
