This was a fabulous event--lots of 113's, 190SL's, all manner of other cars as well. MBCA, MBCC, 190 Group, Gull Wing Group showed up. International Stars, Western Reserve, Ottawa, Toronto, mid-Ohio and other MBCA sections were there. A true meeting of the clans. Some got a ride in a 6.9; a 300SE 3.5. Lots of old Pontons with gorgeous wood dashboards. This was a real treat to see it all together. Their "Canadian ambassadors" mooning a wedding party on a tour boat and doing back flips off a mooring post into the St. Clair river under the Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia was quite a sight and worth the trip alone. ;)
To those that COULD have made it or could have come, you missed a great event!
Thanks to Shelley and Dan!

Thanks Mike.
We had a good time too and as and added feature I planned for my father to be born 80 years in advance of this day so we could all be there to wish him a happy birthday. Although it was hot outside we all stayed cool and eveyone was so friendly it just made it a really great day.
Everything went even better than we could of planned and those who missed the diving event at the bridge missed a true Kodak moment. Thanks so much to all who made the drive in such hot weather and we hope you enjoyed the show and the drive on Sunday through rural Ontario.

It was a fun and informative event. Great to see many of the same faces that attended Joe's event last year. Special props to Dan and Shelly for all their hard work. I left early after the RM tour to take care of some weekend "honey-do's". Car quit about 100 yards prior to going through customs after an 1½ hour wait at the Ambassador Bridge. Culprit was a a dead battey caused by a worn and loose alternator belt. A real nice employee named Tom pushed me through customs and got me a jump. Changed out the battery & belt yesterday and everything is fine.
