Title: 113 NY plate on ebay

I ran across this ebay listing today that I thought I would share it with the group.  Not sure what the law in NY is about using vintage plates but my guess is that it cannot be used to register a Pagoda. (In VA the year of the vintage plate must match the model year of the car).  Plus and the year is just a bit off.

But a nice, albeit expensive, garage decoration if nothing else.

You're correct, Ken. In NY, vintage plates have to match the year of the car.

Nonetheless, it's a neat piece. It would look nice on a garage wall -- or perhaps on a '62 300 SL that wants to grow up and become a W 113 one day.....
