Title: Headlight Assemblies Stolen 65 230 SL Hawaii

All,

I got both my headlight assemblies stolen off of my car here in Hawaii while it was parked at the Hickham AFB For Sale Lot.  I'm looking at close to a grand to replace them.  They were original and in cherry condition.  If anyone has a line on a good used set, could you please contact me at lematta@yahoo.com.  A new set (bezels and turn signal assemblies, is looking at over $1000.  And if whomever stole them reads this, why don't you go play on the freeway...

What a terrible thing for someone to do.  USA or Euro style assemblies?

They (I believe) were US versions.  Clear lower lens, with the amber part inside the lens.  I don't really like the style with the big ugly amber lens cover.  I'm checking Ebay, but no luck so far...

Sorry to hear the unfortunate news.  Maybe "DOG" the Bounty Hunter can assist in locating them.  Does the AFB carry insurance?
