Title: Headlight Warning Buzzer
Post by: JimVillers on October 28, 2003, 17:11:08
I brought a headlight-warning buzzer to share at the Northern Virginia Gathering but it didn't get shared very far.  It is a very simple item that can be purchased from most GM dealerships. The package says "Headlight Warning Package" part number 1#999373 and costs about $15.  The little buzzer has two wires, one connected to a dash light and the second connected to a key switched circuit.  I connected mine to the light in the clock and the other to the heater blower switch.  I now get a nice BUZZ if I turn my ignition off when my lights are on.

Jim,

Things were pretty hectic and I forgot to mention this neat add on.  I think I have the buzzer you brought in my garage and will take a picture and post-once I find it.

For those prone to leaving there lights on (like me) it is a quick and easy add that will save your battery.

Best,  Tom
