Title: removal of odometer knob
Post by: Joe on July 09, 2008, 13:28:02: I know I have seen this discussed before, but can't find it using the site search engine. Of course, being a senior person, the memory of what I read before yesterday no longer abides in the vast cavity between my ears.
I am removing the glass from the speedometer and the odometer (tripmeter) knob won't pull off. I didn't want to break it. Does it pull off or does it come off another way?

Post by: J. Huber on July 09, 2008, 16:57:46: Hi Joe. I am only going from what I think I read -- the knob comes off with the glass not through it. Hopefully someone will ~~conform~~ confirm -- [freudean slip?] but I don't recommend pulling.
