Title: Manual SL driveshaft

I have a 4-speed manual 230SL with a 250SL engine and a missing driveshaft. My question is: is the driveshaft on manual SLs essentially the same on all three models? I've been offered a driveshaft from a '71 280SL, and I need to know if it's going to fit my car. Any information very welcome...

The front sections are different on manual and auto, but the rest of the drive shaft is interchangeable.
A driveshaft from a manual '71 should fit.
