Hi Folks
Can anyone confirm whether there are any differences between the LHD & RHD Gas Pedal brackets ?
Thanks & Rgds

My dealer parts book shows two part numbers for this "Support, for accelerator":
LHD: 113 610 02 53
RHD: 113 610 03 53
Don't know what the actual difference is, but I imagine their geometries may be laterally inverted.

thanks for the part numbers. Hopefully I can find a picture somewhere to confirm if they are different.
Unfortunately (for me!) the LHD is approx 28 euros and the RHD is 128 euros !

Hi Frank,
Just checked the €uro prices on
http://t4media-agency.de:8080/partavail/start_de.jsp
... and yes, you are right, including 19 % German VAT it is even more, outch :? .
Yes, I think the brackets are very well different, not only inverted (in the lower part of the bracket) but also adpated to the different shape of the floorpans on the left and right side considering that the bracket is always on the right front corner of the floorpan in each case. The LHD floorpan has definitely more defined contours in that area, the RHD floorpan is flat there.
I suggest you get the LHD type and "adapt it" by transforming/welding into the RHD version depending on your skills to tinker with welding of sheetmetal pieces ("I love it" [:p]).
Otherwise you create that bracket completely on your own in the same way as Baron Youngman did
(http://index.php?topic=9402).
Good luck !
