Title: cylinder head cover (valve cover) interchangable?

Are the cylinder head covers (Valve Covers) from 230 / 250 / 280 SLs interchangable?  I need one for my 250 SL and wasn't able to determine from EPCnet  which ones went with which cars....   Thanks, Scott

The valve covers will fit from one model to another. The earlier style has a threaded aluminum oil fill cap, the later has a stamped steel cap that removes with a 1/4 turn.
250 and 280SE injected sedan covers will fit too. Carbureted sedans and 220SE covers don't have the notches for the injectors on the left side.
