Title: Part #
Post by: Shvegel on November 02, 2008, 16:36:44
Hi,
I am looking for a part number that my dealer can't seem to locate.

I am looking for the number for the little rubber drain fitting on the bottom of the little well that the parking brake lever sits in. It looks like it was there to allow water out of the well but keep it from allowing water back in. Sort of a rubber check valve.

Thanks,
Pat

check sls
http://www.sls-hh-catalogue.de/bin/dbframes.phtml?mid=IN02

either the e brake photo or the grommet photo
if you can find what you need copy the photo and send an e mail to K&K
they can order exactly what you identify

you can try the same from the classic center

however with the sls part number you will get exactly what you order form K&K

Pat,
on my 230SL this is a simple round rubber plug, not a one-way valve plug.
The spare parts catalog describes part #10 in the picture as "Rubber buffer (to plug holes)" that is used in several places including "in hand brake covering", perhaps it is the one you are looking for.
The p/n for this item is 110 987 0039.
