You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.  We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

When you register, we ask you for your country, state (province) and city. Since we are an international community, it is useful if we know each other's location, when giving advice or assistance. You are requested to provide this information truthfully. If necessary you can leave out your city, until you become a Full Member.

After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the Pagoda SL Group determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

When you register, a link will be sent to the email address you provide, to activate your membership. We have difficulty e-mailing to aol.com e-mail addresses. Please use a different e-mail account. Gmail or other providers often considers our activation message spam. Please check your Spam folder to see if the activation message is stored there.

Pagoda SL Group uses your e-mail address only for notifications or newsletters you subscribe to. You can switch this off in your Profile. Full Members will receive Pagoda World by regular mail at the postal address you enter. Full Members also receive  newsletters and notifications of Pagoda World via e-mail. For these you can unsubscribe as well.

Pagoda SL Group do not share, use or divulge your postal address or e-mail address outside the Group. You can request a copy of your data according to EU GDPR laws.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
We collect the following information from you when you register on our Forum:
IP address, e-mail address, user-name, city, country.

We store a single cookie to make it easier for you to log in. Additionally, we use Google Analytics to record statistics about the usage of our website.

Additionally, when you register as Full Member, we collect:
Your full name, your postal address.

You register using a username (used for logging in), a display name (how you are shown on the forum), and your e-mail address. You e-mail address will be kept private if you request this on your Profile.

You can switch off the sending of these notifications in your Profile.

- your postal address, both in order to send you Pagoda World

Your full name, and your postal address are not visible to other members of the forum, with the exception of your city and country.

Only officers, directors, membership administrators and the systems administrator of the Pagoda SL Group have access to personal information of members.
