« on: March 11, 2009, 21:05:38 »
Hello everybody, I am a new member here. I am from Argentina and I am making a complete restoration of may 280SL 1969 silver plate body and top with red light int since feb 2007. I bougth a set of decals but I don't know where they go. I need some info about the location of each one because the seller never send me the map of location.
Thank you everybody. I add a picture for the complete set of decals.

This is quite a combination of stickers, and not many for the 113. The bottom right (showing the top), is mounted inside the top case on the drivers side, so that you can read it when standing outside the car, with the top case open toward the rear of the car from the top pivot point.

The white sticker with the Daimler signature is not for the 113, this is seen in the later cars.
The Beru sticker (rectangular) is for the 190SL heater core on the drivers side
The valve adjustment sticker I have not seen before.
The small yellow sticker with 100 is for the radiator on the 190SL
The blue rectangle, top left - ?
Round red sticker with the bear ?
Top right is for the 190SL voltage regulator
Attention High Pressure cooling - yellow rectangular is for the top of the radiator in the 190SL
Achtung use only spark plugs ...... I believe is also for the 190SL
Bosch oval - for the coil, but I don't think it is for the 113
Wichter..... ?
Blue ATE is for the 190SL brakes
Valve clearance - ?
Nach gerb..... ?
Tire pressure sticker (red rectangle) is inside the trunck, in the "V" made by the trunk braces on the trunck lid
Wash out.... black rectangle, fits on the air cleaner for a 190SL
Blue and white circle with -20...?
Important use correct 100.. yellow rectangle is also for the top of the 190SL radiator.
