As every year before, the last weekend in August.
A total of 34  W113 from Denmark, Norway and Sweden had a wonderful weekend on the Swedish West Coast.
The rally followed the tracks of the Swedish national poet, Evert Taube. Visiting places that appears in some of his songs, looking at and listening to one of Europes oldest working church organs, built in 1604 and ending with an evening of food, wine and dance to music from the years 1963 - 1972.
( I believe you can imagine why those years )

Very cool. Thanks for sharing! Its hard to believe I used to drive around thinking I was about the only guy in the world that had a Pagoda (since I rarely saw any others and the Internet was not around yet...) Obviously I was way wrong!!

Most excellent, thanks for sharing. I am a bit surprised to see a number of vehicles with US spec headlights. It looks like it was a grand and glorious day for touring.

I had communicated with them and considered "gatecrashing"  this year... but they extended an invitation to me... so half the fun was gone  however because I'd just returned from the Olympics it was a little too much to organise.

I'm not sure if they organise it again this year

The only 'problem' is that Roros, Norway is a 20-hour drive from Amsterdam (considerably more from Brittain).

20 (or considerably more) hours in the Pagoda should be a lot of fun ...

Let's not tell anyone, and just show up.

Seriously, it looks like a lot of fun.

As for the large number of US-spec headlights, one of our Swedish members told me long ago that, today, there are more Pagodas registered in Sweden than were ever sold there originally: many Swedes imported them as their classic car of choice over the past few decades.

Nice pictures! Very nice scenery, made even better by the beautiful cars travelling through it!
