Certainly. I have had several.

To start a true 930 would be an early version (I had a early 1978). There were 3.0 liter non-intercooled shorter wheelbase 930's, then 3.3 liter intercooled monsters. Then in 1986 Porsche shifted the nomenclature to "911 turbo." After that in 1991 Porsche switched again to C2 Turbo ending with the 1994 C2T 3.6 liter.

Which version are you inquiring about?

I have experience with a 911 turbo. I've had one for 12 years (and 20k miles). I don't have to work on it too much because I bought it with 28k miles. So, if you are looking for mechanical experience, I really only do oil changes and brake flushes. A couple of more minor things. If you want driving experience, that I have, and I LOVE to drive it. It's a great car to drive. If you get a stock US version, the boost doesn't come on until 3200 RPM, so not so much fun around town (but still great on the road)... but, mine is a Euro version (1985) with a Zucz (spelling ??) air box which means I get the beginning of boost at 2200 RPM. BIG difference and much more fun to drive around town. All had 4-speeds up until 1989. Therefore, 1989, with it's 5-speed, is very desireable (and more expensive).
By the way, "930" was only the internal product development "name" and was never used on a car in the retail market. Although, everyone calls them 930s. The very earliest (mid to lateish 70's) were called "turbo carrera". Mine is called "turbo". That is what is on the car and on the glove box manual. But, up through 1989 the factory designation were all "930" (I believe). After 1989 the factory designation was something like "965" or ??? I'm not sure. I know the early turbos much better.
PM me with specific questions if you want. COMPLETE BLAST to drive.
