The most important thing that I learned ....well I guess it is not a new learning but rather a reinforcement of past learnings ....
We have a wonderful comunity filled with a diverse group of individuals that enrich each other through our interactions. What a totaly great time meeting old friends and making new friends.

In addition the curriculum was excellent! The presenters were all great and were very knowlegable. I can't wait for 2011

I have a great time at PUB.  It was so nice to meet all you guys (and gals) that I have been" threading" with over the last several years.  I did learn so much from the presenters as well as the audience.  I want to thank Mary and Joe for their hospitality and hard work to make this experience one to remember.  The thing I learned was that all of us have a common goal, that is to preserve these cars for future generations to enjoy, and during our stewardship to also joy (/sadness) to the enjoyment of the "ride".

Also I want to thank Gernold for pointing out to me that his leather guy does wet the leather.  I will contact GAHH to let them know that this process is not harmful to the color dye.  And that my front side lights lens are backwards.

I want to also thank all of you for the nice comments concerning my talk on re-leathering.  Anytime you need help, just call.

I learned a great deal, but I also learned a couple of things after PUB
1) Al Lieffring must have powers. 100 miles out of Blacklick my odometer stopped working.
2) For the first time, I checked the speedo against my GPS. At an indicated 80mph, I was doing a true 72 mph (My tires are 185H14, so that shouldn't be an issue). Maybe MB wants us to feel exhilarated while minimizing the risk of a speeding ticket. Garry note: when you thought I was sleeping and you were doing 90, it was probably 82-83 mph.

Can't wait for 2011.

Originally there were 2 nuts that held each shock absorber in the engine compartment.  Most replacements now use a lock nut...
Mine have the lock nut...  :(

fyi...  I took Jim's advice and since returning from PUB 2009 I installed Carbon-Kevlar pads (frt & r).
WOW, what a difference it has made in stopping!  The overall feel of braking is greatly improved.
