I just got my latest Ebay purchase a NOS VDO kienzle dash clock.
It is not the Mercedes Pagoda clock, but it has the same bezel and mounting studs as the ones that fit inour cars.

I am thinking that the only visible difference from the front is the dial and the hands. It came out of the box looking like brand new, it has a date code of 11/69. A clock movement that has been sitting this long will need to be opened up and lubricated but it did click and start ticking when I connected it to power.
From the back side the power wire and light socket are screw terminal.

Even if it does need to be cleaned and oiled to work A 40 year old NOS clock movement will run bettter than a worn out rebushed movement.
