what are these marks?
« on: April 19, 2010, 18:03:05 »
Hello All

I have the engine out of my car right now and am beginning to detail the engine compartment. Under the grease I found what appear to be witness marks which would suggest an assembly  line inspector verified the torque value on the suspension fasteners. Can anybody verify this for me?

Larry is all part of dotology.  The cars while going down the assembly line would get this dab of paint to assure bolts had been torqued.
