Part Numbers for Key Blanks
« on: August 29, 2008, 10:28:40 »
A little embarassed here.  I managed to lose the keys to my 230SL.  Local locksmith cannot locate the key blanks (too old).
I believe I found the ignition blank (Ilco #: MB59, Dominion #: H63N, Taylor #: M68, Curtis #: MB17 or Silca #: NE8).

Any chance you guys have replacement keys with the part numbers on them for the doors, glove box, trunk and gas cap?

Thank you gentlemen (and any ladies),

The part number, no.  But here's a couple of places that have obsolete replacement keys and they probably can help you figure out the right key blank.  They can also cut keys using the key number on your data card.
