Thanks to the Pagoda Group's International donors who sponsored my ride this past Sunday.

I was going along just fine on my unicycle with the 36" Coker tire. It was sunny and humid, I was sweating out buckets but was going at a reasonable pace with good expectations of finishing the 25km leg of the ride. At about the 8 mile point I started to hear a grinding from down by the pedals. "This can't be good" I said to myself. About 50 yards later the wheel seized and pitched me off the saddle onto the tarmac, I was able to remain of my feet and  run it out. No damage done. The wheel bearing had slipped outward on the hub shaft to where the crank arm was hitting the frame. I got the bearing back into place on the hub shaft by swinging the unicycles frame like a club against a fire hydrant but the bearing only stayed in place for another 1/2 mile and then did the same thing all over again.
I had to wait for a SAG van to haul me back to the start / finish. Two other unicyclists also had thier ride cut short, one had two spokes break, he also got pitched out of his seat, and another uni rider just got to the point wher he couldn't ride any farther.
A dissapointing early end to the day's ride.
