Gasoline on Plug Face

Took the plugs out yesterday...all had some carbon on them which I understand is caused by a rich fuel mixture.

Also, the tip of one plug had gas (petrol) on it. What can cause this?

Car seems to run OK but may need some tuning, engine breaks up some with a little popping at 3000rpm plus.

What does a gas covered plug indicate?

Faulty Plug :oops:
Try a new one to see the difference (unless you have a cracked cap or a burnt out HT lead/resistor).
I had one a few weeks ago.

Richard,
  Fuel on the spark plug has one of two causes.
1. There is no spark getting to the plug. A failed wire or poor conection should be investigated.
2. A clogged fuel injector.
