window adjustments

Done a search but can not find an answer. the question is,is ithere any adjustment on the guide that the  glass runs up on the windscreen pillar the rubber does not line up with the top rubber.  ??? thanks .Mike.

I am not sure I understand the problem. The rubber around the windscreen (windshield) is one piece.
So what does not line up, the trim? A photo might help.
Also do you have a 280SL or 230SL?

To which roof are you trying to align? (i.e. Hard or soft top?)

Sorry,its the soft top,its the rubber that runs from the base of the windshield to the top of the the screen [about 45cm long]it has a cloth face where the glass slides up in the groove,the rubber seel in the soft top does not line up to to recieve the glass.Its a 230, 66 vintage.Its allways diffacult to explain these things.Will try to insert a photo if this makes no sence.Cheers Mike
