A/C removal question
« on: August 30, 2010, 17:39:46 »
This is n response to Donati's question about interior changes during a/c installation and removal that he posted in the For Sale board.
You will need to buy or manufacture the two panels below the dash pads (see photo).  The right one should not have a hole in it.
The Frigiking was also bolted to the side panel in the passenger foot well (which may not be true for other brands) so that needs to be replaced.
Then there are numerous changes in the engine bay. Almost all the bolts and screws that hold the a/c compressor need to be changed back again to the original (mostly shorter) shorter ones. Alternator location needs to be changed and pulleys adapted.
