i going to replace my carpet-does anyone know hoe to remove the aluminum carpet strip that goes along the body when the door is opened? where are the screws?-or does it pry off?-does anyone know the cost of new ones? Mine are pretty dull and scratched

Hi--
Pull the carpet back from the edge where it is encapulated by the trim strip. The screws are underneath the carpet.
Also, these are aluminum and respond well to a bit of FLITZ polish.

Just priced them from the Classic Center. If I remember they were $150 - 200 per side.
Glad to know how to remove them.
