Carpet

I am looking for opinions from people who have experience with replacement carpets

I am restoring my 1968 280SL (was tobacco brown, now anthracite grey metallic) and will be installing square weave carpet (prefer looks over historical accuracy in this case)

So........

GAHH, Worlduph, or other?

Recommendations on adhesive to use?

Thanks to all for the very helpful advice and information to date.

Cheers,
SCP

I used the World square weave and I'm happy.  It's not show quality by any means but fine for driving around.  Even had an issue where a piece was not cut right.  I sent them a picture and they had a replacement piece in the mail to me that day.   If you want something perfect however, all roads lead to Gahh.

Hi scp,
you are not the only one who prefers looks over originality, I too like the square weave carpet better than the loop carpet.
Even for a280SL.  :o
But not every square weave is as good as another.
