Early R107 Wanted for Concours Display
« on: May 13, 2011, 14:34:58 »
...St. Johns Concours is looking for a pristine, early 107.  Prefer badged as a 350 SL from 1971/1972, will consider the 450SL but no later than 1973.

PM me please.

This is a prestigious Concours and this year is quite special.  We have an enlarged, by invitation only Mercedes class of about 20 vehicles including the 1885 Patentwagen, some early 20th century models, some classic 1930's, and the usual post war collection of 300s etc.

I am assisting the car selection committee of the Concours of America at St. Johns (formerly known as the Meadow Brook Concours) in arranging and completing the special, *invitation* Mercedes class for this year’s show.  We are celebrating 125! Years of Innovation, and expect a spectacular show field; typically, RM auctions values the show fields of the major Concours, and this show has been the equal or exceeded shows such as Pebble Beach and Amelia Island in past years.  This is the Concours 33rd annual show.
