I have the original stainless wiper blades on my 1965 SL....had Mercedes of Germany replace the inserts before shipping to US. Now, I need new refills again. I ordered the W113 refill inserts from a 113 vendor, and they do not fit. Can someone measure the cross section of the proper wiper insert and give me the dimensions?
My dimensions (which I need to replace) are 10mm height, 8 mm width, and 305 mm length. The vendor shipped me inserts that are
15 mm width, 10 mm height, and 450 mm length (which obviously can be cut). The vendor states this is correct. There is no way the 15mm width fits into my wiper arm which currently holds the 10 mm inserts. Before I scream too loudly, I want to make sure which size is the correct size for the original stainless wiper blade.
