New to the Forum: Pics of my 280

Hi everyone.  I bought "Holly-Ann", my 280 SL in July of 1988 & then joined MBCA the next year.  She is all orignal, including paint, chrome, seats, etc.  My 1954 Cadillac Eldorado is the cover car and centerfold for a national magazine this month, so I'll post pics of that & some of my others in the "other cars" section.  I look forward to being a part of this community.

We might have twin cars.
Paint color, interior, and maybe even soft-top.
It's hard to tell from the pictures, but is your SL Anthracite Grey 173G?

Hi guys, thanx very much for the nice welcome.  I have only seen one other car in person that has the same exterior color as mine.  Here are the stats from the Spec Sheet from Mercedes-Benz Classic, Germany:

Well, pretty close to twins !
But, yours has the light grey soft top 742, and mine has the dark grey 741.
Other wise the same.
Sure would be fun to have them side by side.

Well that's pretty exciting to me.  As long as I've owned "Holly Ann"  (23 yrs), I've only seen one other car that was the same exterior color in person.  We'll have to keep in touch and get them together at a MBCA or Pagoda event in the future!
