Hi All,

Sorry I have not been active on here, 3 kids and the pace of lie I guess. Here are the latest pics of my 230SL progress. Body work is done, pics of that never got posted but I will try to get around to it. Here are some pic of where I am now.
I hope this works - I just created a flicker account!

Fantastic, looking nice Jeff.

I'm in the middle of restoring mine so I know where you're coming from mon ami.

Was thinking about polishing up my radiator as well so it's nice to see what the end result will look like.

Best of luck with the rest of it.

Hi Jeff-

Beautiful progress!

What is your technique for brightening the valve cover and intake manifold alloy? It looks great.

Thanks Terry & Joe, polished the vc n intake w/ Eastwood Buffing Kit - part# 50341. 5 steps, lots of time. I thought it would look much more shiny but now I'm glad it turned out this way. More original I think. Did thee radiator the same way, then painted the metal parts and clear coated the brass.
I'm wrestling with the injection lines at the moment, trying to get them installed. After that I think I can try to start it!
