Just need to get on the truck

Mixed emotions. I feel like I am giving up my baby to someone who can better provide for her;)

So, deal is done, but need to coordinate shipping to an out of state vendor.
1966 230SL. Restored engine, but has been sitting for years. I have started it every few months, but have not driven it.

I have to be able to drive it 2 blocks to a major street since the transport is a full size car carrier that won't fit in my neighborhood.
It has to be able to drive up onto a ramp.

I think there are a few threads on "reviving" a stored vehicle, but if anyone has any insight, please share. I will read through some other threads.

does it start?

If so, check the fluids and you should be ok.

If not charge the battery, put in some fresh gas.  you may have to bleed the air from the FI system.
hopefully it will start up...
