Amnyone seen this before; 220 seb coupe with four factory bucket seats.  Nice car for sale in Monterey California on craigslist.  Ad claims it is original.

Ok , I am not too good at this but hopefully the below link will go to pictures of the car.

I have seen a few come up on ebay.  Never saw one in person.  It looks like a neat option.

I believe they called this the "Safari" seats. I have seen pictures in books and it is very rare indeed. Pretty cool looking I think but limits seating to only four. Seating is so tight in the coupes anyway, not sure you would want to put three full sized people in the back.

I have searched ( successfully)  for a set of those and according to the EPC the seats are actually front seats with special brackets to allow them to fitted in the rear. In my Coupe i have a set i found in a car that was about to be sent for scrap!

I once owned a 1962 300se coupe with the dual rear seats and two front bucket seats....It was a white car with a cognac interior and it was stunning......

Graham van Heerden in South Africa has a cabriolet with the rear bucket option. Photo below

Also worth a look at some of his other cars.

I came across a 65 coupe that still had front seats in it. They are in horrible condition, but should I get them anyway?  What else to salvage from a 111 coupe?   Back and front are rusty.  Interior is horrible and everything is gone from the dash.  4 speed transmission and engine still there...

Very nice indeed! The private collection that is, not Scoot's project!

I knew I had a picture of that rare seat arrangement. What a nice car. Wish it were mine!

Truly an elegant automobile. In my opinion, a design that has stood the test of time.

At PUB in 2007, Joe's friend Paul Hackman took me all around town in his 220 SEb Cabrio with the bucket seats in the rear.  What a sweet ride, I remember it well.  He bought the car to sell, which is what he did.  But, it was gorgeous.  (One of Bracq's finest...)

In the Kemp Museum in Chesterfield Missouri, there are two W111 cars  with bucket seats in the rear. One is a coupe and the other is a convertible. I believe they were an option in the first year of the model
