Thank you, Ernie, VERY MUCH!

Big Thanx to Ernie Burchall!
I reinstalled the hood (engine bonnet) on my car this mroning, and ran into endless problems, because I didn't do dilligence prior to taking the hood off.

the torshion bar had spun around 360 degrees (God only knows how). I had the hinges reversed, and upside down - you can't go any wronger than this.

But, Ernie answered his phone, from a caller he'd never spoken to before (me), and helped me out. He told me how to set and hold the spring, how it's supposed to be setup, and attempted to get further assistance from another friend.  His advice got me thru it.

Thanx to all, like Cees, George, George, Jeff, Naj, and many others who have helped me too.

I'll post details on the hood dela later ...gotta go...

No big deal I saw that hood torsion bar trick over at Bruce Petersons "Tuultyme" home so when you called I just recalled what he had done when he removed his hood, Later today I spoke to Bruce he told me he learned the bungi cord hook trick from a guy on this site. Happy to pass on the tip.
Best Regards, :D
