Does anyone know who makes/sells a GPS Mechanical Speedo Drive for our cars?
Regards

last I checked, it was about $500 to convert.

Only issue w/those is it probably takes several seconds at least for it to find the satellites after turn on.

No worky in tunnels of course.

An alternative if you swap in a Getrag 265 5-speed w/an electronic speedo output

Google:

https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/41800/10002/-1
https://www.speedhut.com/Speedbox.html

Drive Output Thread is 7/8"-18
1000 turns per mile

This one claims that it can be calibrated to any speedo. Speedometer cable connection: drive end:
Choice of 3/4 x 26 or 7/8 x 18

No idea of what you need to do to make this work on a Pagoda.

1970 280SL. System Admin of the site. Please do not mail or PM me questions on Pagoda's... I'm not likely to know the answer.  Please post on the forum instead!

The fitting on the back of the Pagoda speedo head is 18 mm X 1.5 mm pitch

Neither of those threads is a match for this.

Thanks Gents,
Much appreciated.
Apologies for not having had a chance to look at the forum for a while. I have been and will be in the UK for a while(5 months)
Yes, I have looked at the three options mentioned above and I have realised that they might not quite meet my requirement, fully.
However, I’ll keep looking and I will certainly remember to purchase a 7/8”x18 fitting as well. Unless, I could find a speedo drive(mechanical or electronic) for my 265/6 Getrag.
Thanks again
Chris
