Data Plate
« on: December 12, 2011, 08:39:33 »
I have come across a data plate (the one adlacent to the brake booster) that on the third line has the following -
             113 043  10    0
What does the "0" on the right signify?
In the tech: manual 0  and 9  are not used as a market/distributor location.

Interesting, 9 is listed as Australia in the sheet on distributions.
Could this have been  replacement plate??

The condition of the plate and the origional paint around it (it has not been repainted) suggests it came out of the factory with this plate.
Where did you see the # 9  Australian info: ?

It is in the technical manual
http://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/DealerandCountryCodes

In case the link does not work - go to the Technical Manual tab, then scroll down to contents. Click on the "Data Cards and Codes" link. Scroll down on the page to "Dealer and Country Codes"

Thank you i should have seen that.
There is no mention of a "0"  I thought Achim would have responded with the answer.

Achim ...??? ??? ???
Why Achim, is that guy a library?

Well, I have seen the "0" on the data plates for 2 times so far but right now I don't remember exactly the meaning of it was.
Also for "Diplomats" or that kind of people, or stayed (for a limited time) with MB (car for factory purposes) or something like that.
Let me check again what I have ....

Sorry,
Achim
