Darling-1965    Julie Christie in a RHD white top down 230SL squealing and wheeling around London(?) with gusto.  Anybody own this car?

Hi Glenn -

Not I, but I'm certainly going to find out what I missed; brilliantly matched pair!  Thanks for the tip.

Good trailer......   The movie has a longer Pagoda scene-maybe 30 seconds at most.  Just saw a couple minutes of the flick, as clicking thru-and there was Julie/Pagoda on TCM...  PPP PurePagodaPredestination    perhaps?  Was it London or Rome?

And does Julie's character mirror our cars - a PerkyPixilatedPersonality(PPP)????...

The scene was London.

What is most surprising is that there is NO traffic.

Could London streets even be forcibly cleared for a movie scene today?

I got a tufer. At about the 45 sec mark, they are walking alongside a Jaguar MK X and she says obviously impressed, "oh is that yours?". The Mk X is my avatar and my garage queen.

I was intrigued to see the model of Jag because I thought if I was trying to impress a hot chick like that, I would have needed a MKII or even an S Type if I wanted to portray a sucessful business type.
