W113 Pagoda SL Group turns 10 this summer!
« on: January 21, 2012, 18:55:55 »
So I just realized a minute ago. In 2002, at the very first PUB by Joe and Mary Alexander, a couple of us put our heads together and took the decision to form the club. I'll look up the exact date when I get a chance but I thought it was good to 'commemorate' this as 10 years is after all something of an anniversary.
By the way, the whole history of how it came together, and why, is one the home page and it was dfun for me personally to re-read after apparently ten years how it happened. It was Rodd who started it all ...

Cees,  I am forever grateful to you, Rodd, Joe, Peter, Naj, Dr., and all of you who have made this endeavor possible and keep it going.  I got my car in April 2003, and would have been lost in the engine rebuild without the advice from this group.  It is a great anniversary!

Got my car in Oct 2003 and have been on here - and Dorian's site - pretty much since then
