Has been a while since I posted here, but I have finally finished the restoration on my 1965 230SL. Will post pics soon in the gallery.
One last item I need to finish things off is to renew the crankshaft damper assembly. I see that there are two part numbers listed for 230SLs with respect to the counterweight.
They are A1270311207 and A1800311307. But I cannot ascertain as to what the applicable chassis/engine number range is for each part ?
My chassis number is 11304222009057 and engine number is 12798122001741.
Any help in clarifying the coorect part is much appreciated !!!
