Auto Transmission valve Body bolts - what Torque setting?
« on: February 26, 2012, 16:46:11 »
Hello all

I am in the process of changing the oil and filter in my automatic transmission.  Helpful advice recommends re-torquing the valve body while the filter is off. The Valve Body bolts have 10mm heads, does anyone know what torque setting the bolts should be tightened too?

Many thanks

Peter

Hello JA17, and thank you for your help, am I correct in understanding that 0.8kpm = 7.8 Newton meters which my Torque Wrench measures?

Thank you in anticipation.
