Ok to remove this bracket from the head?

I'm finally getting around to prepping my barn find 230 for paint, I've logged about 500 miles so far on the car and I'm pretty satisfied with how it's doing.  I'm a little obsessive about paint so I'm taking everything out of the engine bay, short of pulling the engine.  I'm concerned about the injector line bracket that sits in front, looking into the head I can see that the attachment bolt seems to be spring loaded and I thought I'd ask the group if there is anything I should know before removing it, I included a picture of it.   I'll be removing most of the peripheral items for detailing, (not the injection pump, not going there) and thought I'd ask if anyone has advice about do's and don't's.  I'm tagging everything I take off and taking copious photos along the way.

Yes, OK to remove the bracket, but put the bolt back.

The bolt hole gives access to pulling the tensioner sprocket fulcrum pin.

Hi Bob,

Somehow attach that bolt to the bracket, because it is NOT the same thread pitch as the other 17mm bolts on and around the engine bay.  This little detail gave me a lot of grief the last time I was where you are. It took forever to find the eff-ing thing!

When you finally put it back don't forget to use some thread sealer as this is required on most of the bolts that go into the front of the engine otherwise they will leak oil.

So...somebody know the thread size?
The thread in the head is ruined. When overhauling i ask the man to put a helicoil in.
He did that, but the size was too small. I couldn't put the fulcrum pin back in.

Hi, Eminent,

The bolt is 12mm dia. x 16mm long.
The thread pitch is 1.5mm

This is a bolt stuck on the fuel lines bracket that I got with a spare head that I just measured up.

He put an M10 helicoil in. That ain't gonna work.
See if there is enough material for a M12 helicoil than.
