Recommended Supplier for Side Glass
« on: February 13, 2012, 04:27:18 »
My passenger glass popped Friday afternoon.  Can anyone recommend a source for a replacement glass and what items I should purchase with it when I do the replacement?  I am in central Texas.

Probably not the response you were looking for but the same thing happened to me two years ago. I posted an ad in the "wanted to buy" section here and a short time later I bought a used window from a group member that was restoring his car. I actually preferred going the "used" route as the light wear make is look like it belongs on the car.

This is slightly off topic but you can help me out. The '69 I purchased had the drivers side glass seperate to be replaced. The previous owner claimed all the parts were present but nothing seems to fit. Can you take pics of what exactly holds your glass panel to the lift arm please? So far this is hard to figure out without removing my good panel on the passenger side. Thanks

There is a section in the 'Technical Manual' under Chassis and body / windows.
