Motor Mounts Part Question
« on: March 23, 2012, 20:45:50 »
Does anyone know the part number for the little rubber rebound buffer that goes between the lower plate of the front engine mounts and the upside down bolt that goes into the engine mount from below?  Or even what that piece really is called?  It is basically a rubber washer (perhaps a bit more conical than a washer?).  It is easy to find replacement engine mounts but I am stymied trying to find what looks like a simple rubber washer. The part I am looking for is number 8 on the attached image.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks much,

Good question. I just replaced my motor mounts, and the rubber washer you indicate, was part of the overall kit.

The 250 SL parts book shows 121 987 03 39 as the part number for the "rubber buffer"
