Hinges Under the Top
« on: April 01, 2012, 06:35:37 »
Hi, ALL, I was wondering what the hinges that are under the convertable top bolt to. If you push them down they push the decklid up. I really need a parts book to show me what all is missing.
Thanks, David

The diagrams in the SLS site may give you some pictures of what goes where/how things go together

The hinges are not bolted to anything.  The trunk and soft top cover hinges are pinned to one another and both are pinned to brackets welded to the body inside the trunk.  Take a close look at the Trunk Lid and Soft Top Cover Hinge removal write-up and photos in the following link to the Technical Manual.
