I have a 1969 280sl automatic that appears to need a new head gasket and head check.  Can anyone give me a step by step process in how to take the head off?  I have a mechanic friend who is great and going to do this for me but doesn't speak or read english.  And, I don't speak much spanish!  He has done this before on other cars but not on a old Mercedes.  I basically need to translate it to spanish.  I am not much of a mechanic so if anyone can help me I would be grateful.  I basically need to tell him how to do it and what tools are necessary.  Thanks a lot!
