Hi,

Anyone knows the (screw)thread of the speedometer (mph) I want to install a trip meter, but don't want to cut the orginal cable to install the pick-up sensor.

Cheers Willem.

Mine is a Euro model but I expect they are the same except for the display plate.  I measure mine as M18 x 1.5.  With a caliper, it actually measures as 17.63 mm Major diameter of the speedo thread.  The pitch is precisely 1.5 mm.
Since 17 mm x 1.5 mm is not a standard size metric thread, I suspect it`s really an 18 mm x 1.5 .
Can anyone else verify?
