Which fuel hose goes where?

Hi-

Attaching new fuel hoses, but I can't remember which hose goes where. See the attached picture--which hose goes to the fuel filter, to the fuel pressure damper, the FIP, etc...?

Hi Joe, I'll take a stab at this.  The line on the left, out of your injection pump, goes to the center of the fuel damper.  The output of the fuel damper goes to the line on the right at the frame, that is the fuel return line to the tank.  Ron

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but I'm chasing my own fuel problem, and there's plenty I don't know.  I see the top of the fuel filter cannister in the picture, just like my car.  What is the fuel damper, and what does it do?
